Well I see this question a lot on the BBS, I even asked it once, though nobody told me this way LOL
How Do I resurruct Skip/Michael/Darleen/the Goth ghosts/everyone in the spectors backyard
Well its actually pretty easy
all you need is
The Sims 2, NightLife and Uni and a small knowledge of how to use cheats.
The hard bit? you can
ONLY have those 3 games installed. I usually do this when I am reinstalling, and dont plan on putting my backups in.
so you have Sims 2, Uni and NL in what now? we will start with the easiest.
Skip Broke, Michael Bachelor, Darleen Dreamer and the Goths and Crumplebottoms
I will write this for Brandi Broke, but it is the same in all the households.
Enter the broke household, and open up the cheat box using
CTRL+SHIFT+C enter in the cheat
motherlode this gives the Brokes an extra $50,000
Make sure you have Brandi as the selected Sim and open up the cheat box again using
CTRL+SHIFT+C and this time enter the cheat
unlockcareerrewards this will (obviously) unlock all the career rewards for Brandi
Gets even easier now, open up Brandi's rewards panel, and go into the career rewards section, you need to get the
resurruct-o-nomitron it looks like a phone on a black table. Place it down, then click on it and choose
call Grim Reaper
then you get a screen much like the phone call one, For these 3 family's these sims are the only one in the panel. click their picture, then the tick mark
next it will ask you to choose how much you wish to pay, if you dont pay enough your simmies come back as
Zombies! I usually pay a little over $9000, if you pay around the middle range, the sims come back with changed stats. like their skills, personality, likes and whatnot.
and
TADA in a puff of green smoke the sim comes back again! you have now resurructed them the easy way
Just a quick word on the Goth resurructions, you will need to make some of the sims resurruct others, as Mortimor doesnt actually know them all. even though they are family. and you will also need to move them out fairly quickly, as the house becomes crowded very quickly.
The Spectors Graveyard
This one is a little harder, especially for those not familiar with boolprop. but here goes:
Enter the Spector household, and open up the cheat box using
CTRL+SHIFT+C enter in the cheat
motherlode this gives Olive an extra $50,000
Make sure you have Olive as the selected Sim and open up the cheat box again using
CTRL+SHIFT+C and this time enter the cheat
unlockcareerrewards this will now unlock all the career rewards for Olive
Open up Olives rewards panel, and go into the career rewards section, you need to get the
resurruct-o-nomitron it looks like a phone on a black table. Place it down, then click on it and choose
call Grim Reaper
Olive only knows 4 of the sims in her Graveyard. Ichabold, her Sisiter and 2 others (forgot who LOL) 2 of them are married, so you go through again, and this time choose who you want to resurruct, some of the sims know others, and some dont. and for some reason, a good 2 thirds of them are resurructed
without hair
so after resurructing all the sims you can using other sims, there is still over half the graves left, if you want these sims back, read on, if not well, dont
you may need to motherlode a few times to ensure you have enough money
BOOL PROP! ahhh the mother of all cheats! who doesnt love it? LOL.......... anywho
Now we open up the cheat panel again
CTRL+SHIFT+C only this time we are typing in this cheat:
booprop testingcheatsenabled true and now we need to
SHIFT+Click on a sim (any sim ) and choose the
Spawn... interaction, cycle through the options untill you find
Tombstone of L&D click it and a tombstone appears, now we can turn off boolprop by typing in
boolprop testingcheatsenabled false dont worry, the tombstone will still work.
So this time we click on the tombstone, and choose
Add Neighbour to Family (or household or something) cycle through the list of names untill you find the ones still in the Graveyard, and click on them, they will appear for a few seconds, then fade away, and you will get a message saying the sim has died on another lot, and is returning there to haunt it, but dont worry! everything is going according to plan
because
now when you take a sim to the Grim Reaper phone, so long as they were on the lot when you did the boolprop bit, they will know that Sim! hooray! we are almost done! so do that untill the graveyard is empty
Now a few warnings on the Spector lot, Maxis never intended
most of those sims to be played, only a few of them,
as I said above a lot of them are reborn without hair, and I never had a chance to see if I could put some on them or not, I assume you can, but dont take it as written that its true!
the 2 I noticed were the most glitched last night were the 2 teenagers in the Graveyard. Luc and Mellisa (I think its Mellisa)
Mellisa has a hairstyle that is not in the game, and because I left boolprop on when I did this, I got constant error messages about her untill she left the lot, she may be fixable, or not, you will have to ask someone with a knowledge of SimPE for the answer to that question
Luc on the other hand, has no aspiration
easily fixable using boolprop
The same method used for the unknown Spector graves, can also be used for (Pleasentview) Bella Goth, the first method, used for Skip etc.. will not, because Bella is technically still alive, untill you bring her back, then she dies
then you can resurruct her again
